How to Have Your Best Self Care Sunday Ever

One of my favorite things to do on a Sunday is spend a good few hours taking care of myself! Below are my best Self Care Sunday tips.

Take A Hot Shower + Shampoo, Shave, Exfoliate, + Deep Condition

Don’t skip a single step. Go all out and pamper yourself! Shampoo and deep condition your hair (I love this treatment mask by Ouai). Then shave your legs and exfoliate (Ouai’s scrub is heavenly) your whole body! You’ll feel so fresh, smooth and silky afterwards. It’s the best feeling in the world.

Wrap Up In A Warm, Fluffy Robe + Do A Face Mask

After your nice, long hot shower, wrap up in a fluffy robe (one of my favs) and put on a cold face mask for 20 minutes. My go-to face mask is this one by Olay – I can literally feel it tightening my face! While you wait for it to freshen up your skin, watch an episode of Friends, read a chapter in a book, or lay with your eyes closed and relax!

Go For A Walk

Soak up some sun and go for a brisk walk. Bring your pup if you have one! 

Write In A Journal

Light a good candle & let your thoughts run free and write it all down.

Go to Bed Early

Getting a good night’s rest will ultimately make you feel better overall and be more productive for the upcoming week!

Do Anything You Want

My final, and most important, self care Sunday tip is to do absolutely anything you want! The best way to take care of yourself mentally is to allow yourself to take a break and give into your wants for a little while.
